Re: Sims character frozen

@yolosolomomo  Try using the resetsim cheat.  Bring up the cheats console (crtl-shift-C) and enter resetsim firstname lastname for each sim.

If that doesn't help, go to Edit Town, evict the household, and put it back in the house.  The sims will keep their jobs and relationships but lose their promised wishes and opportunities.  The more thorough reset, which may or may not be necessary, is to evict the sims, save the house to the bin, bulldoze the lot, place the house again, and then move the sims back into it,

Please also delete the five cache files in your Sims 3 folder in Documents\Electronic Arts each time you quit.  These files should be deleted regularly anyway, and while troubleshooting, every time you close the game.  For reference, they are:

• CASPartCache.package
• compositorCache.package
• scriptCache.package
• simCompositorCache.package
• socialCache.package
