Make sure the following program are up-to-date

- Origin
- Java
- Flash Player
- Adobe Air
- Windows

The scriptError in the launcher usually appears if one of the parts on the main page can't be displayed properly. Sometimes simply ignoring the message and clicking either yes or no, helps too.
