@sketchur  No, that's not normal, or at least it's not what I see when I play.  Are you playing on a laptop, and if so, do you have it plugged in while you play?  Have you set power while on battery to "performance"?  Right-click on the battery icon in the lower right corner of your screen to see the option.

This could also be a monitor calibration issue though, whether you have a laptop or not.  Or it could be something else.  Please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post, so I can see what hardware you have as well as look for any obvious errors.
