In order, No I don't see any points listed as my own, trying to download a free thing reminds me that "Hey you haven't registered yet" and I am making sure to sign in with the same Log in id that I use to get into the game and EA games. Heck I only have the one so I don't see how I could mess that up.

@Houndreon The bonus only applies if you register TS3 to thesims3.com account. The points are used in thesims 3.com store. to download from the store you have to have (and use) Origin. Which means you have to have an Origin account. This is because the Steam version and the EA version do not install the same on your computer. You can use your Steam code and use an Origin and thesims3.com (the login should be the same). I think (not positive) for registering at thesim3.com you get 1000 point to use in the store for your EA game (this does not apply to the Steam version) and I think the free world was Riverview which is now a free world and again this is downloaded to the game launcher and installed to the EA version of the game as the store does not let you choose which install location to download to. You will have to check the Steam community about these issues.

For ea accounts you have to login to thesims3.com - login - go to my page/myaccount - register a game. This should then show as owned on thesims3.com My Page and the bonus should be triggered (if the bonus is still in effect - some bonuses may expire). Once you create an account on thesims3.com that should be the same login for Origin (if you have it installed and you should have it installed) and Origin may automatically pick up the game and place it in my games in Origin.

Alright. I figured that might be the thing but involving that...

I have got other games from steam that asked for registration by another sorce, this being games like Spore. Steam gives you a registration code that is obtained from the original sorce, this being the original producer from the game, and thus this would be alot like if I walked into my local Walmart and bought a disk version of the game. I might have not gotten the game right from the sorce site, but I would have still been able to get all the benifets of buying the game. I know that is kindly putting it considering there is one thousand micro transactions and so on, but still, the point I am making is this. I have activated codes before with no problem, and to be honest I can sign in with sims 3 with EA account with no problem. All I am saying is I don't understand why I am not getting the registration rewards, but I am anoyed that this problem is interwined by the fact I signed in and there is nothing happening. >~<

@Houndreon You HAVE to register the game in thesims3.com - my page - my account - register a game. This is NOT a Steam bonus - it's a EA bonus and all they are asking is you register your game at thesims3.com. After you register the game an icon will appear on the thesims3.com my page and this will trigger the bonus.

Alright, let me say what I said before, and with me trying not to sound like an * about it.

There was a tab on Sims 3 where after I signed in it said register. It asked for my registration code there and that is what I did, I entered the code and it said congrats, here is your reward, and I never got it and it continues to claim I didn't register, I made sure to click continue to make sure that this was set in concreet when I did register on the game but like I said it continues to say I did not register even though I registered on the game itself.

@Houndreon If you go to thesims3.com and login (same user name and password as Origin) and go to my page is the game icon bright and not greyed out. If the icon is bright that means you registered the game to thesims3.com site and in the upper right your points should reflect the bonus. If not go to thesims3.com - my account - register game.
