Refund from Origin

Ok, so I bought the Sims 3: Generations the other day and was told to download it on Origin. Surpise suprise Origin doesn't work on Mac's (I obviously didn't know this prior to buying it). So then AGES trying to find some sort of contact number from EA games to get a refund. There's no such number. I emailed them and I got an automated email with order number etc saying they'll get in touch with me asap. Surpise! - no one has. Is this a joke? How do I get a game refunded?!?!
