Sorry, I didn't see this earlier Mama Dragon. I must have had too many notices that day.

1. Go into your documents version of the Sims 3 folder. Find the FeaturedItems folder and rename it by right clicking and choosing "rename"... I usually just add a 1 to the end.
2. Open a text editor and save it with that same name: FeaturedItems.
3. Right click on that text/word/whatever file you just created and chose rename to delete the dot and everything after it so it has no extension... nothing after the FeatureItems (as a name).
4. Move that FeatureItems file to the Sims 3 folder in documents.
5. Delete the original FeaturedItems folder after confirming that your new file has the exact same name.
6. SAVE that empty file you created if you like to copy into every new Sims 3 folder you might play.
This same method works to create .tmp file replacements in the dccache folder, but they will be overwritten whenever you use the launcher. I use the ts2w.exe short cut to load my game and moving any export files to a clean install Sims 3 folder to upload from there will keep your Sims 3 dccache folder .tmp files in your game clean until you which to install something you download. Then you can override the .tmp files that are created with the ones you created earlier (if you saved them somewhere outside your sims 3 folder).
