Hello, I have purchased the Sims 3 base game and the movie stuff pack about a month ago, but I have never checked if the stuff pack downloaded (it apparently didn't). Now I have bought the Sims 3 Pets and I can't get it to download.
I have tried installing it on Origin and the EA Desktop app but neither worked. When I tried downloading it on Origin the extra content tab didn't even appear (I went into the game details and the only tab that was there was the friends tab). When I tried it with the EA Desktop app it prepared for about 20-30 seconds(after I clicked download in the manage add ons option) and then an error message came up:
"There's a problem with your download
Something went wrong during your download. Give us a few minutes then try again"
I have waited about 4 hours and I still couldn't download it. I have also cleared the cache about 6 times (manually and automatically through the EA Desktop app) and I have reinstalled Origin, the EA Desktop app and the Sims 3 more than once. I've also tried a bunch of other fixes I found, but none worked.
If anyone has an idea what I could try I'd be very grateful. 🙂
