Thank you for this post! I have 2 EA cash cards that I was saving for DV. I was going to add them to my EA account balance.

I guess I am going to hold off on that for now.

I completely understand your frustration and anger. Like you, I intended to us my EA Cash Balance to purchase Dragon Valley. Much to my disappointment, when I was taken to the purchase page, EA Cash is not available for me.

Which, is interesting, since I was able to purchase Barnacle Bay using EA Cash. Perhaps this is a bug, or glitch, with the site. Hopefully we will be able to get DV soon.

Oh that is not good. I just put my EA cash card on so I would have a balance here to use towards DV. I take it that for whatever reason it is not working? I didn't try ordering it yet since I wanted to make sure others were able to download & play DV.

Is there something special we need to do in order to use our cash card balance when buying DV? Has it been possible to use cash card account balances on simpoint bundles in the past? I have never used the cash card or tried to use it here before this.

Thanks for the heads up! I was just about to do the same thing with the gold bundle. And one simmer didn't even get their 1900 simpoints. I understand it's just released and all, but they need to get it together unless they want a lawsuit :lol:

Go through "Buy Simpoints" under Store up top. It's what I just did. Haven't downloaded it yet, but it shows as purchased, got the simpoints, and Celtic Lands shows as purchased, too :-)

UPDATE: Was able to Purchase DV using EA Cash. (Photos included)

The Steps....

Step 1: At the top, right side, of the page there are the Sim Points, click this. It will take you to the page to purchase your Sim Points....

Step 2: Once you are on the purchase page for Sim points, scroll down to find the DV Bundles...select the one you want, scroll to the bottom of the page, and click next.

Step 3: Select the option to purchase with EA Cash, click next to verify and complete your purchase.

This worked for me as well. Which is good, cause I was getting seriously annoyed.

I was also able to use my EA account balance to pay for this. I just went to the screen where you purchase simpoints and the bundle with DV is there. I selected the option to pay with my account balance and DV is now in my purchase history and I received my 1900 points.
