Resource cfg problem
I have the resource cfg file for the mods folder but it has a different icon than normal and my mods still don't show in game.

When you launch the sims 3, in the launcher you need to select all the mods and custom content that you would like added to your game. They should appear as sims3 package files. Make sure you checkmark all the ones you want installed. Sorry this all from memory. I haven’t played sims 3 in years. Hopefully this helps you.
