@themilkbox It would be normal for the game to add enough roommates to put eight sims in the house, and I'm not sure why that isn't happening in your case. Do you use mods? If so, it's always possible that a mod setting is governing how many roommates get added. On the other hand, you could use NRaas MasterController to add the roommates of your choice, if you'd like.
As for the roommates that already exist but can't be found, does that happen in every save, or just the one you've been playing?
