Second hand game, code already used
I bought a secondhand sims 3 disc at a bootsale i am trying to install it but says the product code is already in use, what do i do?

A game code is bound to a single account and can only be used once. In other words, that product code cannot be used a second time once it has been once registered by the original user. In other words, you got sold a void product.
The best bet you can do is to return the game and ask for a refund.

so is there literally no other way of getting the code ?
For all I understand, no. Product codes are one-time use and are afterwards bound to the account it was used on. If you have a second hand game with the code already used, there isn't much one can do other than return the product.
