sim compleated a task now music wont stop replaying

i guess my sims compleated a task and the little jingle that plays wont stop replaying over and over its really annyoning ive closed the game and started it many times and still the same issue please...

Try deleting your cache files: 

Go to documents\ea\thesims3 and delete these files

CASPartCache.package
compositorCache.package
scriptCache.package
simCompositorCache.package
socialCache.package

----

What task was it that you've completed ?

go to the star and cancel  if it is still showing up there
