Same here with telescope. I also had the chessboard glitch but somehow resolved it with different chairs, possibly a different chessboard. Now I have a Sim that will not go to work at the lab in Science field. Refuses and is then soon "missing work" ... very uncool.
Is there a forum to go to specifically to hear where EA are actually responding and fixing the problems with their games? I do not play online, I have no apps or downloads and only 1 recent minor patch. So it's a definate flaw in their program.
