Simpoint bundle no longer available?

Is the Sim points bundle (for Monte Vista) gone?

$35 for it. I click on the link and I don't see it.

  • @Alex_Zokas  Yes, it's gone.  The Sims 3 Store doesn't handle purchases made with real money anymore; that's now redirected to Origin.  And in Origin, the only options are to buy Monte Vista or the worlds bundle (Monte Vista, Hidden Springs, and the chocolate fountain) for $20.

Considering you can get MV and HS for $20, plus 2040 SimPoints for another $20 if you want, that seems like the better deal overall.

Ah yes definitely. Ty. Is there any more bundles? That's the only one I see.

@Alex_Zokas  There's one expansion bundle: World Adventures and Generations, $20 for the two of them.  And the Gold versions of Roaring Heights and Dragon Valley come with 1,900 SimPoints each, for $35 rather than the $20 of the standard version.  They also have a bit of bonus content that you don't get with the standard version and can't buy from the store, although the items are not particularly exciting.

I like Dragon Valley very much; that's the world where I've been playing most recently.  The Renaissance Faire and Boardwalk venues that go with the worlds are also occasionally offered on the Daily Deal for much cheaper than their usual 1,710- and 1,900-point price tags, if you feel like getting that content too.

One last question. Thank you so much for helping.

On The Sims 3 store, it says $35. I went and click it and on Origin is Euro 35.

Ofc this price is a MAJOR big difference in my opinion. Is there a way to pay in dollars?

@Alex_Zokas  There's no official way to purchase in a different currency.  Using a VPN to bypass local prices is against EA's terms and conditions.  I guess you could get a friend in the U.S. to sign into your account and buy for you, then pay them back, but it's possible that wouldn't work either.

And yes, it's a major difference, but EA doesn't tend to change prices based on currency exchange rates, at least not in the short term.
