Sims 3 - Moving sims from sunset valley to another town glitch??

@odorsey2 are you able to access them still in Sunset Valley? 

Did you try to move them through the phone/computer? It generally causes problems. 

If you can still access them from before when you moved them, go to edit town and save them to the library. Then go the main menu, create a new save in the town you want and place them in the world as your active family.
