Sims 3 - Right Click and Middle Mouse Button Not Working

Hello,

I have just recently started playing the Sims 3 again (currently using the 64-bit metal version as I am on iMac)

For some reason, I cannot right click or use the middle mouse button in game. That means no camera control, no dismissing wants. There is nothing I can do. I’m not sure why though. 

My mouse works fine outside of the game. It also works fine while playing the Sims 4 with the Sims 3 camera enabled. I don’t know what I am doing wrong. I don’t have any mods or custom content.

    @rose41519174  Please try disabling the Origin in-game overlay.  Hover over your username, select Application Settings, then the Origin in-game header, and disable the option at the top.

    If that doesn't help, please try playing with nothing else open on your computer (except for Origin, of course).  Other apps may have overlays that interfere with Sims 3.  And if that doesn't help either, please try switching to fullscreen or windowed mode, whichever one you're not currently using.
