Sims 3 - Showtime EP not working properly

Good evening everyone! I am having some trouble with a recent expansion pack I bought. I have the Sims 3 installed via Origin, and have three expansion packs: Pets, Supernatural, and Showtime. Pets was installed via CD many years ago, but I purchased both Supernatural and Showtime earlier today via Origin. All three packs are showing as installed when checking Origin, and even when opening the launcher (all continue to stay checked off when entering and exiting the game), but within the game itself, only Pets and Supernatural are working properly.

What's strange is that the demographics options in settings lists celebrities as an option, indicating Showtime is installed and the game recognizes it, but it is unable to be checked/unchecked and gives a "the selected expansion for this option is not installed" message. The game also did install Starlight Shores, and I can enter the world and play it no problem, but the celebrity system is nonexistent. Even stranger, the singer/performer jobs are available, which was confirmed by selecting a pre-existing family in the world with said job.

I have tried to do a fresh install of the game/all expansion packs, deleted the 5 caches listed in the game's directory, tried removing all of my mods, unchecking all expansions then rechecking them in the launcher, nothing has helped.
