Sims 3 : Stuck on loading Screen (99%)

I need help!  My loading screen keeps getting stuck at 99%. I don’t think that it is about the mods. It just stopped loading one day.  I‘m thankful for any answers. Thank you!

    @207876492  Does this happen if you start a new save as well?  Please test in Sunset Valley if you haven't already, and let me know.

    If the loading screen still gets stuck, please remove your mods and custom content and test again.

    Please also delete the five cache files in your Sims 3 user folder, both now and every time you close the game after it fails to load.  For reference, the files are:

    • CASPartCache.package
    • compositorCache.package
    • scriptCache.package
    • simCompositorCache.package
    • socialCache.package

@puzzlezaddict Thank you so much for answering !

It started working after removing all mods/cc.
But does that mean that it won’t work with custom content? Is there a way to make it work again? I never had such a problem before.

(I am using steam btw)
