@sunshinelee18 Please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. Don't add anything to it yet; just start a new save and see whether CAS still crashes. Additionally, don't change any of the graphics settings with the exception of the resolution and switching to fullscreen or windowed mode. But for the resolution, don't go above 1920x1080, at least for now.
If you get another crash, disable Advanced Rendering in the graphics options. Change the setting at the Main Menu and quit to desktop before loading a save.
