@ExoneratedTea That's normal: the point is that the new folder contains newly generated files, not your old ones. Does the game work now?
@puzzlezaddict Glad to hear that is normal. On another note, still the launcher opens, but when i press play it goes to launch the game then nothing happens and then i get a error.

@ExoneratedTea Try adding Sims 3 and Origin to Full Disk Access. Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy, click Full Disk Access, and add Sims 3 and Origin. You'll need to first click the lock in the lower left corner and enter your system password to allow changes. Then under Files and Folders, check all the boxes for Sims 3 and Origin as well, that is if you see any more options. (These keep changing with each OS and it's hard for me to keep everything straight.) Point is, allow the game and Origin everywhere you can find.

@ExoneratedTea I'm so sorry, I misread the second screenshot in your first post. (I swear I saw 2017 instead of 2011.) The problem is that a 2011 Mac doesn't support Metal and therefore won't run the 64-bit version of Sims 4. You can still play the 32-bit version though.
