sims 3 64bit store content wont show up in game

I've checked the other threads about this, and nothing seems to discuss the problem I'm having  - I've been able to download and install my store content on the launcher, and after i do, it shows up ...

    @Sandy1396  It sounds like you might have a corrupt file somewhere in your Sims 3 folder that's keeping the content from showing up.  Please move the entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, open the launcher to create a new folder, and download just one item from the store.  Install it, launch your game, see whether it's there, and if it is, restart your computer and test again.

    if the content still works, you can go ahead and start installing other content in small batches, maybe six items at a time; the launcher has traditionally not handled large amounts of data well.  Worlds are large files and should be handled separately, not in a batch with anything else.

    Be sure to test often to make sure the content is still loading properly.  You can also periodically save the Sims 3 folder during this process, so if something goes wrong, you won't have to start from scratch (again) but instead can restore the next oldest copy.

    Once you've reinstalled your content, you can move your saves or anything else you want to keep to the new Sims 3 folder from the old one.  Here's a list of everything in that folder, so you'll know what to transfer:
