Sims 3 Ambitions Download

I purchased a hard copy of the Sims 3 Ambitions a while ago and I am trying to play it now, but my disc is somehow not being read. I have redeemed my game code through origin, but there is no option of downloading the game through the My Games tab. How can I download the game?

Did you uninstall the disk version before trying to download the digital download ? If not, you need to do that first (just the EP you're trying to download)
