Haven't tried any of the beta versions

Once i get into the game, i place my family into a lot, then it crashes once i press the tick to start playing the game itself.
I have tried many different suggestions i have found on the web, since ea dont want to sort it out. None of the solutions i have tried have worked. 4gb patch, unsuccessful, Run as admin, compatabillity mode (tried and failed, also when it made the game ALOT darker), tried a fresh install, nothing is working.
