- What version of Windows 8 are you running ? Windows 8 64 bit
- Do you have the 32 bit Version or the 64 bit one ? 64 bit
- Did you buy a new Computer and got Windows 8 on that or did you install it on your old machine ? Got a new computer with it already installed.
- Which of the EPs/SPs do you have installed ? World Adventures, Generations, Late Night, Ambitions, Design & High tech stuff. (I want to install more but want to get it running first)
- What Patch level are you at (base game) ? TS3_1.50.56.0210
- Do you have any Store content or CC/mods added ? Nope
- Did you try out any of the beta/consumer preview versions and did you have any issues with those ? I didn't try them.
- What graphic card do you have and which driver version are you running ? nvidia geforce gt 650m . 2gb - not sure what driver is installed
- What symptoms are you seeing (try to be as detailed as possible)? Well the game installed just fine through origin, as did the expansions I own. The launcher opened just fine and updated. However when I try to play the game it asks for my key code. So I’ll enter than and it will keep asking me to re-enter my key code ad infinitum... If I choose to not enter the code and cancel out it tells me my version is not compatible.... I know this is not the case as I have had EA customer support check this all very carefully. They are as lost as I am apparently.
