I'm trying to install the Create a World Tool, but it says "This product requires an installed copy of The Sims 3. Please install The Sims 3 before installing this product," but The Sims 3 is installed. I am running game version 1.67.2 and have the game installed through steam. I have 6 EP's, if that changes anything.
@stxeep The issue is that the registry entries for the Steam version of Sims 3 have the word (Steam) in them, so CAW doesn't recognize those entries. If you're comfortable editing your computer's registry on your own, you can fix this yourself.

Please be very careful though, and back up the registry before doing anything else. Removing or altering the wrong file can prevent your computer from working correctly.
