@sarahd094 Is it possible you registered Seasons on the old Sims 3 site ( www.thesims3.com or store.thesims3.com )? If so, that's why the code is reading as used: the old site and Origin share information. You could have that account merged with your current one; that's probably what the support rep was trying to say.
If you really have no idea what email you might have used to register the pack, you can enter any address you have into Origin's sign in window, or the one on the Sims 3 site, and click "Forgot your password?" Any address attached to an account should receive a password recovery email.
You can also try another EA support rep—some of them are better than others. If live chat isn't being helpful, you can access EA help through Facebook or Twitter instead.
Thanks for the reply. I've already checked the sims3 website and my accounts are linked already. I did have a really old email that I no longer use (10+ years ago) and I've checked that as well on both origin and the sims 3 website and it wasn't even registered so its definately not that one either. I'm 100% convinced that somehow the code has been registered by someone else because I added all the expansion packs at the same time and I'm pretty sure it came up as already used back then too, but I don't think I was that bothered about the pack at the time.
I'll try facebook/twitter instead as you suggested. Thanks for the suggestions and taking the time to reply
