Sims 3 Crashes!

I have never had problems with Sims 3 in the past, but after i got Movie Stuff, it crashes after i click play in the game launcher. The game launcher's welcome page is also blank, and if i log out on...

    So one more suggestion: Try re-patching your game. Reapply the super patch, doesn't matter if it tells you already have it. Just say yes.

    Get the patch here (make sure to get superpatch)

OH! I'm using origin for all of these...idk if that matters...

    Yes,I have changed it back just to try out of desperateness, and no i have no mods, and never had so i doubt theres something i forgot to take away(saw that as a problem to other people too). I have it updated to the latest it was letting me...not sure what number is, I shall check when I get home. Thank you for the help, i appreciate it very much!

        Current version is 1.67.2.024017      so i don't need to use the super patch right?
