Sims 3 .dmg Package Includes Unusable 32-bit installer
Hello,
Using a CD Key I went to install The Sims 3 on my MacBook. The EA App redeemed the code without any problem. I assumed that because there was no option to select the 64-bit version that the client would automatically download the 64-bit game.
The .dmg package downloaded to my machine (the_sims_3macfg__ww_securom_originalrun_1__origin__idjit_data_store458615dc4f12481c943a21108f6f892f) contains .exe files and "The Sims 3 Installer" that is 32-Bit.
Obviously this cannot be installed on my Mac, so now I am completely confused. Did I miss a step in the download process, or do I have to re-purchase the game through EA to get the 64-bit version?
I appreciate any assistance.
Best,
