Sims 3: E.A. Download Manager: Error: can not connect.
Im trying to update my sims 3 game but it says the ea download manager can not connect therefore i can not update to install my add-on game

Failed.
Still showing can not connect to ea download manager
Can't seem to login from the laucher as well

Its seems to be working now
All I did was try the patch 3 times like starting a old car
now its running im going to go play it before it decides to not work again
But I still cant login from the laucher itself and get news

Nevermind...its not my add on that works its justy the sims 3 itself
so still doesnt work
Try the 1.6 GB super patch instead

Super Patch...
all that did was fix the login part
and then it froze after i loged in with a pop up
saying there is a new patch and do I want it I said yes
thats when it froze I left it for a good while incase it was doing the patch but
came back it was surely frozen couldnt move my mouse or anything
but got my mouse back by going to task manager and closing the sims
Something must have happen when they updated the ea download manager
someone didnt do something right
no one can play there added on games
and it doesnt seem fixable with the list of patches
Is this going to happen to the sims 4 ?
maybe I should hold off buying that one
What version does your launcher show now in the lower left corner ? Does the pop-up say game patch or store patch ?
