Sims 3 error

I am having some very frustrating problems with my sims 3 for the past 2 months now. I recently bought a gaming pc and when I tried logging into my EA account to play sims 3 I reinstalled the game. The problem I am Having is that when I click on the launcher it is telling me I need to install Origin but when I click on it through the EA app it works fine with no problems; but when I turn off my PC and turn it back on to play it I get an error when I select a world or try to play the saved game. Every time I uninstall and reinstall the game it works but I can't keep doing that just to play the game. I even had to buy all the packs again through the EA app and they still don't work. My sims 4 works fine with no issues.
