I found the solution on my own actually, so no need to reply to this
@simswhoop45 In case you're wondering, Apple introduced new limits at the beginning of 2020 on what could be installed inside an .app, so EA had to rearrange the pack data for Sims 3 and 4. What you're seeing is normal.

the issue i’m having is that my packs are downloading through origin and saying that they’re in the game, however when I open the sims 3 launcher they icons aren’t there, and when I play the actual game none of the content is there either
@avafountain Does your computer run Windows or macOS? Which packs are you missing, and which, if any, load in-game?
