If you are having issues downloading from Origin, there are a few things you can try.
Make sure Origin is updated to the latest Beta Version:
- Launch Origin and login with your account
- Click on the word Origin in the top left hand corner, and select Applications Settings
- From the general tab, scroll down to “Update to the Beta Version if Available” and tick the box
- Restart Origin by logging out and logging back in
Doing a clean reboot and running Origin as administrator:
- Follow these steps on how to do a reboot: http://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135
- Right-click on the Origin icon on your desktop and choose run as administrator.
- Then attempt to download again
Enabling Safe Mode Downloading:
- Open Origin
- Go to Applications and Settings
- Advanced
- Enable Safe Mode Downloading (tick the box)
- Try again
Make sure that no programmes are conflicting with Origin:

As a last resort, uninstall Origin and redownload it from here: http://origin.com/download
