PS did you buy your computer from HP directly? I think they have a 90 day return policy
You need something more like this computer or better to play the sims
You did not state where you bought your computer but if say it was walmart they do have a return policy on computers. http://help.walmart.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/9#Electronics
Walmart also has same computer I posted above only it has 8GB ram not 12/16 Ram like the one I posted above on the HP web. Walmart has the 8GB ram computer for $598 when HP for double the ram is only $50 more on sale at $649. If you can afford it I would go for the more ram at $50 more.
