Sims 3 Game Launcher Won't Remember Login

Basically what the subject says.

My Sims 3 launcher doesn't remember my login information even though it's been toggled. Everytime I close the game window and reopen the launcher, it asks me to login again.

When I open the login window, the boxes for "remember my email and login" are both checked and my email's already there, but the password box is empty.

If I don't login from the game launcher and log in from the game window, it'll tell me I have the wrong password a few times and then log me in.

Any suggestions? 😕mileyfrustrated:

Sorry. Was very tired yesterday.

I am out of ideas but I posted this in the helpers corner to see if anyone else has an idea.

This has always happened to me as well, but it's completely random. For example, all day yesterday it remembered my password. Tonight? 5 times I've entered my password, closed the launcher, reopened it and it won't remember me. It's very annoying.

Having the same problem, I have tried un ticking and re ticking, and followed the suggestions given but still it doesn't save my details.

Did you also try changing your password on Origin and make sure you have cookies enabled ?

This thread is really old but has no answer and as a new The Sims 3 player with the same problem i got this thread as my only google search result.

I found the problem for me was that i don't use Internet Explorer but TS3 launcher does. Problem was resolved by using Internet Explorer to log into my EA/Origin account.

Abstrx - Just tried this as I was experiencing the exact same problem after I rebought the game through Steam. I always use Chrome, and using this fix worked perfectly and the launcher now keeps me logged in.

I had TS3 Launcher up, with me NOT logged in when I started. Then I simply pulled Internet Explorer (Edge) and went to The Sims 3 website, logged in and made sure that "Keep Me Logged In" was checked. Closed the browser, closed the game launcher. Restarted the game launcher, and I was signed in. Perfect.
