Sims 3 Infants don't have eyes

This happens across all saves and household that have babies in them. I did have a skin mod installed(Studio Skin NON DEFAULT by Pralinesims) I did try uninstalling it, but it didn't help the baby is...

    @michelle_renee86  You should try a new save to make sure new babies have their eyes again.  The problem with an existing save is that the existing babies' skins can't be refreshed, but new babies born into existing saves should be unaffected, that is if the problem is gone.

I will try removing the CC because when I checked the box the game did load but the babies still had no eyes. Should I try it with a new game or should an existing save work too?
