Sims 3 Into the Future: Towns not Loading.

Hi, I'm having a really annoying issue with into the future.

Right now, I have the Super Patch (1.63.5) and all games and stuff packs expect Katy Perrys Sweet Treats, Diesil Stuff, and 70s&80s&90s stuff.
I'm running Windows 8 and all the games run off DVDs; none were purchased online or downloaded off origin.
I've already uninstalled all of my games and reinstalled them, and I have no CC or Store Items.

I can load up the game and it goes into the 'select a save/create new town' screen without hassle, but when I create a new town it flips to the loading screen and then it sits at almost complete for hours. I left it overnight and came back to it still loading.
It's not frozen, as the screens change from one  "find the objects" screen to another.

Another symptom is that in the 'select a save/create a new town' screen, when I try to open the 'options' menu, it blinks up for less then a second and then disapears. I can open the credits fine, and quit out of the game perfectly fine from there; it's just the options that blink out.

Others in my house are able to load the game fine, just that it takes a while to load the games but they do go through and they can play their sims families.

I hope this is enough information. Please let me know what else you need to help me fix this.
