Sims 3 launcher leads back to EA Play

Simply said, game is installed, launcher works, But every time I hit the launch button on the Sims 3 launcher itself it only leads back to the EA Play launcher. Moreover, Ea Play does not recognize the game being installed but in download manager it is shown as downloaded and double clicking on it, will launch it.
I tried to reinstall it, clear cache and so.
It worked before on Origin as I owned EA pass, but ever since I got xbox pass and Ultimate, it does not seem to work anymore. I even tried removing the entire Origin, changing install directory a deleting saved game.

@schlehofer928  Did Sims 3 ever work on this computer though?  I ask because you have a 12th-gen Intel processor, and the game doesn't start correctly on those CPUs.  The workaround is to limit the game to one core while it's loading.  You can accomplish this with a patch Lazy Duchess made:

    https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues-PC/Sims-3-won-t-open-Alder-Lake-Intel-12th-gen-CPU/m-p/11524785#M250970

or with one of the other suggestions in that thread; start reading on page five if you're interested.

If you've already applied one of these workarounds and it hasn't helped, try setting Sims 3's affinity in the Task Manager to one CPU core.  This is the most direct way to address the issue, but it needs to be done and reversed each play session.

IT run previously from Origin where I got the Ea pass, now via Xbox it is not possible, even when I try accessing it directly from the game folder

@schlehofer928  It's possible that Origin will allow you to download the packs, although this seems to be hit or miss.  You'd still need to play through the EA App, but the App should allow the game to load any installed packs even if it doesn't recognize you own them within the app itself.
