Sims 3 launcher uploading

My sims 3 launcher is not showing any of my mods or cc I have downloaded and is just saying it’s “uploading” I left it uploading for over 6hrs and it was still uploading nothing fixed

  • @Jordanian_177  If you've installed the game through discs or Steam, the launcher uploading message is a known issue.  It can be ignored: just close the launcher anyway, either manually or through the Task Manager.  Or you can try the workarounds that helped when the problem first showed up:

For the mods and custom content, the launcher doesn't display any .package-based files, which covers all mods and some cc.  The important question is whether the items show up in-game.  If you have Sims3Packs downloaded, make sure they're in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Downloads, and the launcher should show them in its Downloads tab.
