Sims 3 Launcher won't work
When I click on the shortcut icon on my desktop it does nothing and then if I go to the start menu and click the shortcut there it still does nothing. This has happened before but then loaded back up...

I actually have two user accounts on my computer, my personal one and a guest one. Well, I logged out of my personal one and went to my guest one and the Sims worked just fine. The launcher showed up and everything was working fine. Though, on my personal account, I tried to do something. I forget what it was but when I did it said it couldn't do it because the Sims was running but in task manager it said it wasn't so I don't know what was wrong. I just play it on my guest account now.
I'm wondering if you might have changed or updated something. Are you willing to try a system restore? Go to Start \ Accessories \ System Tools \ System Restore. Choose a date prior to your launcher issue. After it has restored to a previous point, try using the launcher.
