Sims 3 My baby di

My sim just returned from an adventure in France and when she got back home her baby is missing.   Still shows up in her friends list but just gone and not showing up as part of the family that can be controlled.   Is there a fix for this?

    did you try the reset sim cheat ?

     to reset one sims ctrl+shift+c hold all 3 together in the menu bar that appears at the top of the screen type resetsim first name last (of your sim ) hit enter for example my sim is named John Dear i type in resetsim John Dear
