Sims 3 Neighbors Question

I'm currently working on a custom world, and the houses added to the world are all unfurnished. I'm making all custom households as well. When I move a specific household into an unfurnished house, will the family buy their own furniture if this specific household is NOT the active household?

Example: My sim from the active household visits a neighbor that I created and moved into an unfurnished house. When my sim enters the house of the nonactive household, will it be the same unfurnished house, or will random furniture appear? This may sound redundent, but I'm confused.

    No. Inactives don't buy furniture. You need to provide everyhing.

    It doens't really matter though. Unless you visit them, they don't need a kitchen or anything cause when they are at home, they don't do anything but stand around until an active Sim comes into view or they leave the house to go about their business.
