@jewelbyrnes Please move your entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. When you open the launcher, a clean folder will spawn with no content. Don't add anything to it yet; just see whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.
If that works, you can move your saves and other content from the old Sims 3 folder to the new one. But move the files over a little at a time and keep testing to make sure the game still loads properly. If and when it doesn't, you'll know that one of the last files you moved over is the issue, and you can split that last batch and test until you find out which one.
If the game won't load even with a clean folder before you've added anything to it, please let me know whether you use iCloud and if so, whether it's currently full or close to it.
