Sims 3 patch 1.69

I recently started playing the sims3 again along with the two expansion pack, when I opened my launcher to start my game origin automatically started an update to the newest patch. Now whenever I try to download cc or from the store it will go through the installation and then fail with a software message saying my game isn't up to date. I'd try reinstalling from the disc and from origin. Is there any way to fix this ?

@LoveWolvesTaz Could you please right click the Sims 3 game tile in Origin and select 'Check for Updates' and then right click again and select 'Repair Game'?

After this try the downloads again.

I have done the repair to the game but I'm still getting the error, I just reinstalled the game after not having it installed for a long time and some of my downloads won't install. Is there anything else I can try?
