Sims 3 Pets: Crashes, freezes, map is black...

Installed 2 days ago...I got a message that popped up "unable to recognize hardware"... Map is black... I freeze on save and crash. Any sugguestions?      ------------------ System Information -...

What's the exact error message you're getting ?

    support. You may need to adjust your graphics settings manually for 
    optional quality and performance.

     

    Only saw this message like after the first and second time I loaded the game. It doesn't come up anymore.
