I tried to the solution on the first page by uninstalling Origins (by going to Windows Explorer, "this PC", and click Uninstall or change a program) and then install Origin in a new folder. When I opened Origin again, My Into the Future and Pets expansion packs no longer said Download, but Add to Queue...yet the problem still persists...

@SofiaGinger21 I created a separate topic for you because the thread you posted in covered a mac-specific issue and solution. Origin functions a bit differently in mac OS than in Windows, so most of the troubleshooting steps for one environment won't work in the other.
For Windows users, the first step is to clear Origin's cache. If that doesn't work, you can try uninstalling and reinstaling Origin only (the hard way, not just through the Windows default method). It's probably best to install it into Program Files as it suggests, unless you have multiple hard drives and specifically want Origin in a different one.

You should also check to make sure you have enough free storage on the drive into which you're installing your expansions. If you don't know how to find this out, you can run a dxdiag and attach the results here (use the Browse button). In fact, it might be helpful to provide one, just in case there's something else going on with your computer.
