Sims 3 Pets Horse Problem

Dear EA, 

I was playing Sims 3 Pets and two of my horses entered somebody else's backyard. They entered through a gate which a horse would usually not be able to enter through. Now they are stuck in there and are not able to get back out. 

I have tried:

>mounting the horse and riding it out

> leading the horse out

>walking out (as the horse)

>calling the horse out

> making the horse follow my sim out the gate (as the sim) 

None of these have worked. 

There is no food or water for the horses. 

I tried quiting and not saving,  so that I would loose the data, but it either it saved automatically or I accidently saved it (reflex) but when I opened it back up they were trapped still.

PLEASE help!

    1. Hover over the horse to find out it's name
    2. Open the cheat console with ctl-shift-c
    3. Type resetsim <firstname> <lastname> (the name you found out in 1 - if they don't have a last name, try horse as last name)

    Hi Crin, 

    Thanks for the suggestion but I typed in what you said to but either nothing happened or the cheat console did not understand the command.

    This is what I typed:

    resetsim <Lighting> <horse> (i.e. including the arrows)

    resetsim Lightning horse (i.e. without the arrows)

    resetsimLightninghorse

    Lightninghorse

    <Lightning> <horse>

     

    None of these made a difference, neither of my horses could get out.

    Could you explain excactly what resetting will do to free my horses?

    or try the rest all sims cheat ctrl+shift+c hold all 3 together in the menu bar that appears at the top of the screen type in resetsim *   (inculding the * hit enter ) this will reset all sims inculdeing your own make sure your own aren't doing anything important cancel their acton q
