Sims 3 Pets Limited Edition Content deleted

I had The Sims 3 Pets for a while. Since the Pet Shop wouldn't appear in the map, I decided to uninstall it and reinstall it. However, when I did, I accidently deleted it from the download section and I don't know how to get it back. I was then stupid, and uninstalled the limited edition items. However, when I went back to downloads, there was no option to re-download the contents. I don't know how to get back the contents because the code expired back in 2012. I fear that when I type in the promo code, it will say the code has expired.

P.S Does anyone know how to fix the social worker? He never came to drop off the pet and now I can't travel or even edit the map.

    @sophiayuan Moved over to the Sims 3 board for you, hopefully someone here will be able to help. 🙂 In the meantime I suggest taking a look at the stickies at the top of the board, there might be something in there that can help.

    for the pet shop if you redeemed the code when you got it ,it ought to be in your the sims 3 account-my store account-purchase history to download and install again

    the social work can be glitchy 

    tr the reset all sims cheat

    ctrl+shift+c hold all 3 together in the menu bar that appears at the top of the screen type in resetsim *   (hit enter ) this will reset all sims including your own

    try the backup folder method

    go to the electronicsart /thesims3/saves in the saves folder find your save you play  for example my save is Sunset.sims3 and the back up of it Sunset.sims.backup i copy those folders to the desktop for now and for safe keeping

    then in the save folder rename the   .backup one rename it to something else for example test.sims3 launch the game and see if it's ok

    if it does launch and all is well at that point i would save a copy of my family to the library  and or the lot too just in case you may have to start a new game but you'll have your family and house to  place
