Sims 3: Plants stuck in State: Harvest

Right, so on my Sims 3 game, several of my plants appear to be stuck in State: Harvest, with no harvestables or option to harvest. They now refuse to produce harvestable items, and I want to know how to fix this. So far, I have tried:

ResetSim *

Ctrl+Shift+Click, Reset option (buy mode)

Deleting caches

Uninstalling and re-installing game

technical issues

It's a bug and there isn't really much you can do about it other than using a mod.

Google NRaas Overwatch if you want to go that way (at your own risk, not supported by EA)
