Sims 3 Reshade Help (Intel 12th-gen)
I just got a new laptop that is tricked out. Dell G15 5521 Special Edition. It has the dreaded 12th generation i7 14 core processor that is known to need special workarounds to get the sims 3 to even play. To get the game to play I had to install a script and run it on powershell. That's the only way the game will open.
I also have NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU.
I cannot for the life of me get reshade to work. Every time I install it, it crashes my game to desktop. I’ve tried installing the newest version of reshade (5.1.0) and a modified version (4.9.0). I tried installing it using direct x 9, direct x 10/11, and open GL but nothing is working.
I also have the smooth patch and LazyDuchess launcher.
I found some forums from a while ago that said there was a problem with reshade on NVIDIA laptops.
Can anyone help me?
EDIT: I have Windows 11 and I looked in event viewer and this comes up: Faulting module path: C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\D3D12Core.dll
