Sims 3 Seasons keeps having a groundhog day effect on my saves, please help!

I am current with all of my updates for the sims store and game. I've also uninstalled Seasons and reinstalled it to see if it would fix the problem and it doesn't. I save my games, they are usually in the last days of summer because I play for a few hours each day. But when I come back and load up the saved game, it has reverted back to day 8 of summer...even though when I saved it, it was on day two of summer before fall would begin. And, the married sims on my lot, are no longer married. What should I do?
